Vietnam Veterans Memorial Cube being considered by Amazon Web Services for their offices in Herndon, Virginia

Amazon Web Services seeks to purchase a wide range of original artwork in various media for their corporate office in Herndon, VA from artists who live, work, or who have their studios in the Metropolitan D.C. region or who are current students, alumni, or faculty of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts (VCUarts).

In response to their Call for Art, I submitted photographs of three of my cubes. On Thursday, I received notice that one of my pieces, that featuring the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will be further considered for purchase. I will be delivering this piece to Amazon Web Services on Saturday for purchase consideration. At this time, I do not know how long the piece will be on display, or whether the display will be publicly accessible. Just cross your fingers that they like it!
